I really enjoy listening to podcasts. There are so many available, on a variety of topics. My favorite time to listen is when I am cleaning and/or cooking. By the time I am done listening to an episode, my task is complete.
Being inspired and empowered, while getting things done, is a win-win in my book.
Here are my six go-to family and home podcasts. I hope they are encouraging to you as well:
At Home with Sally Clarkson and Kristen Kill– Sally Clarkson is a best selling author and founder of Mom Heart Ministries. She reminds me of what a Titus 2 “Older Woman” should be, she speaks with a gentle and kind spirit discussing transparently her own life victories and challenges while inspire young women to seek God in their life at home. She hosts this show with Kristen Kill, who adds her oun sweet touch, you can visit her beautiful blog here.
A Happy Home Media– Keri Lamar is a mom of 8 whose down-to-earth personality pulls you into her world of homemaking, homeschooling, down sizing and raising two children with Down Syndrome. She shares great nuggets of wisdom. She also wrote a wonderful book called Present, I’ve read a couple of times.
Moreover, I like that she and her husband team up together on the podcast. They haven’t recorded a show in some time, but the archives are worth listening to.
Homemaking Foundations– Jamie Balmet is a young mom and wife with two sets of twins (and one on the way). I love her enthusiasm and diligence in teaching as well as encouraging women in the various areas of biblical homemaking.
